Believe it or not, the Americans have an official day for cotton candy/fairy floss!
December 7th is proclaimed National Cotton Candy Day in the states but nobody can work out who invented it (the holiday) or why it’s in December given they are the winter months in the US:)
Cotton Candy or fairy floss as it’s known in Australia is a popular carnival treat that is now likely the most popular food item at school fetes in Australia and fundraisers and a great way to make profits for schools and organisations.
